Cell Therapy Laboratory Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cellular Therapy Lab Manager to join our dynamic team at a nationally recognized Pediatric Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of a busy Cellular Therapy Lab and overseeing a dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge and understanding of manufacturing practices and procedures, FDA compliance, and FAC accreditation. A Bachelor's Degree is required, and 10 years of related clinical experience in marrow processing and/or cell culture in both clinical and research settings is preferred. Additionally, 2 or more years of proven leadership experience as a Lead Tech, Supervisor, or equivalent is also preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Cellular Therapy Lab
  • Oversee a dynamic team of laboratory staff
  • Ensure compliance with FDA regulations and FAC accreditation
  • Develop and implement laboratory policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve laboratory goals
