POSITION SUMMARY

As a Brow Waxing Specialist at Ulta Beauty, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the guest experience by providing expert brow services. Your primary focus will be to engage with guests, understanding their unique needs and preferences, while delivering exceptional service that reflects the values of our brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Brow Waxing Specialist is dedicated to driving sales and guest satisfaction through the following duties:

  • Achieve or surpass sales targets for the Benefit brand by delivering outstanding service and product recommendations tailored to each guest.
  • Ensure every guest receives personalized attention by greeting them warmly and engaging in meaningful conversations about their beauty needs.
  • Conduct brow services, including waxing, tweezing, and tinting, while adhering to the highest standards of safety and hygiene.
  • Utilize appointment scheduling systems to manage guest bookings efficiently.
  • Stay informed about the latest beauty trends and product knowledge to enhance the guest experience and drive sales.
  • Maintain a clean and organized Brow Bar area, ensuring all tools and products are in compliance with health and safety regulations.

TEAM COLLABORATION

You will contribute to a supportive and inclusive work environment by:

  • Participating in ongoing training and development sessions to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Building strong relationships with guests and fostering a loyal clientele.
  • Collaborating with fellow team members to create a positive atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

The Brow Waxing Specialist will also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures by:

  • Following all operational guidelines related to service delivery and guest interactions.
  • Communicating supply needs to management to maintain readiness for guest services.
  • Participating in inventory management and merchandising efforts to keep the Brow Bar well-stocked and visually appealing.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • A high school diploma is preferred.
  • A valid cosmetology or esthetics license as required by state regulations.

Experience

  • Previous experience in brow services, makeup application, or related fields is advantageous.

Skills

  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to guest concerns.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with the role.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
