Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians in managing and treating emergency cases promptly and efficiently.
- Perform animal restraint, administer medications, and assist in surgeries, including anesthesia monitoring.
- Perform X-rays and other technical tasks with precision.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records and ensure proper documentation of patient information.
- Collaborate with coworkers to ensure the well-being of our animal patients.
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners, ensuring clear communication and compassionate care.
- Proficiency in veterinary emergency care and/or surgical assistance.
- Previous experience as a veterinary technician, including familiarity with emergency procedures and dog handling.
- Ability to handle animal restraint and perform tasks such as kennel management.
- Knowledge of X-ray procedures and animal catheterization techniques.
- Strong computer skills for electronic record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
