Accounting Instructor Pool 24-25

The Department of Accounting in the John H. Sykes College of Business at The University of Tampa is seeking applications for part-time instructors to teach undergraduate financial accounting and managerial accounting courses (ACC 202 and ACC 203). Candidates should be willing to teach both courses.
Responsibilities- Teach one or two course(s) per semester.
- Create syllabus for students each semester to include learning objectives consistent with The University and the College of Business mission statement (course objectives and sample syllabi provided).
- Provide meeting time for students.
- Manage online/paperwork grading system, including training prior to first semester of teaching.
- Meet with the course coordinator and/or department chair.
- At least a Master's degree in Accounting.
- Significant experience as a professional accountant.
- Active professional designation is preferred (CPA, CMA, etc).
- Teaching experience preferred.

Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed by the department chair when openings become available. Future teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis, which may include fall, spring and summer.
