- Quality Control: Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols. Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold quality standards.
- Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements. Conduct safety training and drills for the production team.
- Resource Management: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supplies. Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Recommend and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including output, quality control, and inventory. Prepare and present production reports to management. Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in manufacturing, operations management, engineering, or related technical field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Lead or supervisor in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to resolve conflicts efficiently and effectively. Ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficient in using production management software and tools. Skill in the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Typically work in a manufacturing or production facility. May require working shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on production needs.
