Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in a tailored residency curriculum that meets your learning needs.
  • Deliver direct nursing care under the guidance of a coach, adhering to established protocols.
  • Assess and adjust patient care priorities based on individual needs and available resources.
  • Implement interventions to ensure the continuity of safe and effective patient care.
  • Respond proactively to health risks and take corrective actions.
  • Seek guidance when necessary to ensure safe and independent practice.
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

  • Document patient care accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • BSN is preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on the unit.

Work Environment:

This role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a high-pressure environment. The physical demands include lifting, standing for extended periods, and exposure to various health risks.

Personal Protective Equipment:

Adherence to safety protocols using personal protective equipment is mandatory during procedures.
