About You
Are you a highly motivated and experienced professional looking for a challenging opportunity? Do you have a passion for delivering exceptional results and building strong relationships?

We are seeking a talented Specialty Account Manager (SAM) to join our team. As a SAM, you will be responsible for executing commercial activities for assigned geographies, establishing relationships with customers, and ensuring successful sales of our products.

This role is field-based, requiring access to customers in clinics or hospitals while maximizing engagement through digital channels. As a SAM, you will be responsible for product performance at a territory level and will serve as a disease category expert and product champion.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements
  • Developing comprehensive and effective territory business plans aimed at achieving and exceeding quarterly & annual goals established by commercial leadership
  • Promoting within approved labeling in a comprehensive, fair, and ethical manner consistent with industry-specific and corporate legal and regulatory guidelines
  • Developing strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs
  • Serving as a resource/consultant to customers and staff regarding payer policies and processes
  • Maximizing use of marketing resources to maintain and develop customer relationships for growing confidence in prescribing Axsome medications for appropriate patients
  • Communicating territory activity in an accurate and timely manner as directed by management
  • Providing feedback to sales and commercial leadership, colleagues, marketing, and other internal departments about changing environments and results
  • Successfully completing all training classes in a timely manner
  • Completing administrative duties in an accurate and timely fashion
  • Managing efforts within assigned promotional budget
  • Effectively collaborating across all corporate functions
  • Attending medical congresses and society meetings as needed
  • Ensuring timely access for patients through patient services and savings programs
  • Overnight travel as indicated by the needs of the business
  • Additonal responsibilities as assigned
