About This Role

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the management of service members within the IN JFHQ IN J1, Indiana National Guard. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $65,000 - $85,000, depending on qualifications and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a final reviewer or processor of actions related to legislative and IG inquiries, evaluation reports, accessions, promotions, reductions, and discharges.
  • Research and obtain necessary information regarding cases and issues, providing explanations and interpretations of rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements.
  • Maintain automated systems and interfaces used to manage service members locally and statewide.
  • Participate in unit Soldier Readiness Processing (SRP) and organizational inspection program.

Requirements

Military Grades: E2-E9, or O1-O3 Compatible Assignments: 68W or 42A General Experience: Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems.

Specialized Experience:At least 12 months experience in the interpretation and application of regulations, procedures or laws; Experience that provided a working knowledge of administrative functions; Experience performing personnel transactions; Experience working independently and setting priorities with very little supervisory control. Specialized experience may include human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force, or similar human resources experience.
