As a Human Resources Assistant in the Army National Guard Units, you will play a critical role in supporting the HR team and ensuring the smooth operation of personnel operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with experience in human resources management and personnel operations. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and processing personnel transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to the HR team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • • Serve as a final reviewer or processor of actions, including Legislative and IG inquiries, Evaluation Reports, accessions, promotions, reductions, discharges, etc.
    • Conduct research and gather necessary information regarding cases and issues, providing explanations and interpretations of rules, regulations, procedures, and requirements.
    • Maintain automated systems and interfaces used to manage service members locally and statewide.

Requirements: MILITARY GRADES: E2 through E9, or O1 through O3
COMPATIBLE ASSIGNMENTS: 68W OR 42A
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training demonstrating the ability to perform the duties of the position. Experience using computer and automation systems is required.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
