Position Overview

Nemours Children's Health is in search of a Training Specialist II to join our dedicated Primary Care team. This full-time role focuses on enhancing the educational experiences of our associates within the pediatric primary care sector.

Our primary care facilities are designed to offer a welcoming and family-oriented pediatric healthcare experience for the communities we serve. With numerous locations across the region, we are committed to delivering high-quality pediatric services, emphasizing preventive care and holistic wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement innovative training curricula and facilitate various educational workshops for Nemours associates.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to identify educational needs and establish role-specific competencies.
  • Create and support learning modules delivered through diverse formats, including in-person training and online courses.
  • Assess training needs using reliable methods such as job/task analysis and standard work confirmations.
  • Design course objectives, content, and materials, ensuring adherence to adult learning principles.
  • Establish regular competency assessments to ensure compliance with standard workflows and resource utilization.
  • Assist departments in developing workshops and classes tailored to their specific needs.
  • Implement evaluation systems to measure training effectiveness and report on outcomes.
  • Conduct site visits to ensure adherence to training standards and provide ongoing support.
  • Communicate updates regarding system enhancements and provide necessary training.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives by aiding in the creation of training materials for related events.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is essential.
  • Experience in training and classroom instruction is necessary.
  • Experience in a medical group practice is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EPIC applications is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as required.
