Job Opportunity

Armavel, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Analyst Expert to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for leading technical security initiatives, creating and delivering training programs, and ensuring transparent communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-series publications to drive effective risk management.
  • Create, review, and maintain security patterns for various technologies and use cases.
  • Lead technical security initiatives and collaborate with technical specialists to address and resolve security issues.
  • Develop and deliver technical security training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Ensure transparent communication with stakeholders, including project priorities and effective team efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical discipline, or 7 years of relevant experience in lieu of education.
  • 10 years of relevant experience in information security, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • Expert-level knowledge of FISMA, NIST RMF, and NIST SP 800-series publications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP certification.
  • Experience with vulnerability and patch management, including asset management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation.
  • Familiarity with creating security diagram overlays and updates, determining security requirements, and implementing security mitigation.
