Daily Responsibilities:

Insight Global is seeking a Test Engineer to focus on cost-reduction strategies associated with new product development initiatives. The selected candidate will collaborate with teams in Magnetics, Mechanical, Electrical, and Procurement to identify opportunities for cost savings. Responsibilities include receiving new components from the procurement team, designing test scenarios, analyzing results, and determining the most effective products while minimizing costs. The candidate must possess the ability to analyze and validate results to facilitate production readiness. A background in electrical or mechanical engineering is essential, along with the capability to evaluate new products, tools, or software to achieve cost efficiencies. Once testing is completed, the engineer will monitor product performance. The majority of the work will be conducted in an office environment (80-90%), with occasional tasks on the manufacturing floor (10-20%).
