Health Educator

Job Summary:
Fairfield Public Schools is seeking a qualified Health Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching health education to high school students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and understanding of health concepts.
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional strategies.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- CT Certification in Health (043) PK-12
- Experience in teaching health education or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Working Conditions:
This is a 10-month position with a starting date of August 21, 2024. The salary and benefits package will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
