Job Summary:

As a Temp Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality vascular ultrasound procedures that require ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgment on patients. Your expertise will be utilized to conduct Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) scans, carotid and abdominal aorta duplex scans, upper and lower extremity arterial & venous scans, and groin scans. You will also be responsible for obtaining patient history, explaining standard procedures, and addressing patient concerns to foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients. Additionally, you will operate and maintain all assigned ultrasound scanning equipment, position patients, select appropriate transducers and machine settings, and conduct scanning procedures to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. You will also complete quality assurance processes and practices, comply with all Joint Commission, federal, state, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols, and maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms, and records in paper and electronic formats. Requirements:

High School diploma or GED
Graduation from an approved school of medical sonography
Registered Vascular Technologist through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - RT(VS) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
