Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Rego Park Imaging. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of MRI exams, including body, neuro, MSK, chest, and cardiac scans. Your expertise will also be utilized to assist our radiologists during biopsy procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough patient screening and preparation for MRI exams.
  • Ensure patient safety by identifying and reporting any motor abnormalities or other potential issues.
  • Operate MRI equipment and perform exams with precision and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging and accurate diagnoses.
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance on MRI equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • New York State Department of Health licensure as a radiologic technologist.
  • ARRT registration in magnetic resonance imaging (MR) required within 18 months of entry date.
  • Certified in IV contrast administration and basic life support (BLS or BCLS) required within 6 months of entry date.
  • Previous experience as a radiologic technologist, with MRI experience preferred.
