Key Responsibilities:
+ Liaise with external service providers and contractors for facility maintenance and periodic enhancements.
+ Conduct regular inspections of the premises to ensure optimal functionality.
+ Engage in global safety discussions and collaborate with safety personnel to implement facility improvements identified by safety committees.
+ Serve as the main contact for inspections and service requests, including HVAC, emergency generators, fire safety systems, plumbing, and electrical issues.
+ Keep precise records of maintenance, purchases, and repairs.
+ Assist in managing building support vendors such as pest control, cleaning services, construction, and HVAC.
+ Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders as necessary.
+ Provide support for miscellaneous requests, including room and catering arrangements.
+ Perform minor facility repairs when feasible.
+ Replenish office supplies and snacks as needed.

Qualifications:
+ Strong communication skills.
+ Proficient with basic hand tools and minor building repairs.
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders to secure timely decisions on essential purchases and agreements.
+ Capable of adhering to timelines while keeping the team informed of progress and challenges.
+ Valid driver's license issued by the state.
+ Willingness to engage in minor facility repairs and hands-on tasks.
+ Basic understanding of equipment operations to effectively communicate with maintenance staff.
+ Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Education and Experience:
+ High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in facility support and maintenance within a business environment, preferably in laboratory or manufacturing settings.
