Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with personal care needs to promote optimal recovery and comfort.
- Perform basic nursing skills as delegated by a registered nurse, adhering to policy and procedure.
- Ensure a safe environment and delivery of care, maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.
- Provide administrative support, including maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare professionals.
- Stay up-to-date with necessary skills and competencies to provide exceptional patient care.
- High School Graduate or Equivalent.
- No experience required, but relevant experience is preferred.
- Certified Nursing Aide certification (CNA) through the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
The job requires frequent bending, stooping, and driving (for Home Health Aide positions). The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 pounds is necessary. You may be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious diseases.
