Job Summary

Janicki Industries is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery and equipment used in our aerospace manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain machinery and equipment, including 5-axis mills, waterjets, vacuum pumps, cranes, and other specialized equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) and services on assigned machinery and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve equipment-related issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical certificate preferred.
  • 1-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in overhead crane operation, forklift operation, and other specialized equipment.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
