Janicki Industries is seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery and equipment used in our aerospace manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities- Install and maintain machinery and equipment, including 5-axis mills, waterjets, vacuum pumps, cranes, and other specialized equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections (PMI) and services on assigned machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance and repair.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year technical certificate preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in overhead crane operation, forklift operation, and other specialized equipment.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
