Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Direct Sales Representative to join our team at Optimum. As a key member of our sales department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling our range of telecommunications products and services to customers in their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Customized Solutions: Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to meet the unique needs of each customer, ensuring they receive the best possible solution for their telecommunications requirements.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest products and services offered by Optimum, including high-speed internet, advanced TV, mobile, and voice technologies.
  • Sales Pitch: Effectively communicate the benefits and value of our products and services to customers, addressing their concerns and objections in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Closing Deals: Negotiate and close sales agreements with customers, ensuring they are satisfied with their purchase and providing exceptional post-sales support.
  • Documentation: Accurately complete all paperwork, contracts, and sales reports, ensuring seamless communication and record-keeping within the team.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and assistance to ensure their continued satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and share best practices, driving collective success and growth within the team.
  • Targets and Quotas: Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and quotas, demonstrating a commitment to personal and team success.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and sales practices, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of previous door-to-door selling experience.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivator with a knack for working independently.
  • Proficient computer and technical skills to support customer solutions.
  • Reliable personal vehicle (where applicable), valid driver license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work full-time.
