Job Description

The National Fair Housing Alliance is seeking an AI Governance Researcher to join our innovative Research unit and contribute to our mission of advancing fair housing through responsible AI development and deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and data analysis on AI governance topics relevant to our mission and goals.
  • Support the development of reports, policy briefs, and other research outputs that inform our advocacy and policy initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing AI governance frameworks within our projects, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Advocacy and Research:

  • Provide research data and analysis to support our advocacy efforts related to AI governance in housing.
  • Assist in preparing materials for public comments, policy briefs, and other advocacy documents.
  • Represent the National Fair Housing Alliance in public forums to advance our mission and work.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in social sciences with a quantitative background or in a data science field with a policy background.
  • 1-3 years of experience in AI research, policy analysis, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to conduct thorough literature reviews and data analysis.
  • Excellent writing skills for preparing reports, briefs, and other research outputs.
