GLG is in search of skilled professionals to enhance our Client Solutions division. The Senior Associates / Managers within our Financial Services & Professional Services Firms (PSF) practice are tasked with overseeing and supporting research inquiries from client firms.

Client Solutions Professionals are responsible for crafting and implementing tailored research strategies that align with client requirements, fostering innovative solutions for each project. Additionally, Research Professionals will have the chance to cultivate significant client relationships and assist in the development, structuring, and pricing of products tailored for FS/PSF clients alongside our sales team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Client Partnership

  • Facilitate timely educational interactions between our experts and clients, enabling informed and confident business decisions.
  • Contribute significantly to GLG's Account Management efforts to drive revenue growth through the expansion of existing business and pursuit of new opportunities.
  • Independently manage a diverse portfolio of complex clients, acting as a strategic partner to design and deliver custom projects, including consultations, surveys, and special initiatives.
  • Propose innovative ideas for products and services that can enhance client engagement and revenue, collaborating with Research, Sales, and product teams to realize these concepts.
  • Recruit new experts to our global network through targeted outreach via various communication methods.
Expertise Management
  • Deliver exceptional client service characterized by responsiveness, accuracy, insight, urgency, attention to detail, professionalism, and enthusiasm, setting a standard for excellence within GLG.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with GLG's primary asset, its experts, by onboarding new experts and identifying meaningful consulting opportunities.
  • Build connections with key stakeholders at client firms, including senior executives.
Compliance & Confidentiality
  • Exhibit impeccable judgment regarding GLG's policies and procedures for safeguarding the integrity of client engagements.
  • Effectively communicate the integrity and value of GLG's compliance framework to clients.
  • Propose enhancements to GLG's compliance platform to reduce friction for clients and experts, collaborating with compliance and product teams for execution.
  • Implement GLG's policies and procedures for maintaining the integrity of client engagements and train new employees accordingly.
Collaborative Team Efforts
  • Mentor and train colleagues to ensure excellence in revenue generation, client service, and compliance.
  • Contribute to key strategic initiatives as directed by GLG leadership.
  • Collaborate within interoffice teams to foster and enhance client relationships.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a prestigious university (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in a client-facing or analytical role, or equivalent experience in consulting, finance, law, journalism, or related fields.
  • Strong passion for addressing complex challenges and delivering top-tier customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, encompassing oral, written, and presentation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment, judgment, maturity, and intensity, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Proven success in phone-based outreach, sales, or recruitment.
  • Fluency in both English and Korean.
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this position is competitive and includes eligibility for performance-based incentive compensation.
