Construction Field Specialist I

At HNTB, we are seeking a skilled Construction Field Specialist to join our team. This role involves providing senior-level inspection and construction field work to ensure compliance with engineering and architectural plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project schedule, contract documents, and plans.
Verify that procedures are followed and materials used conform to specifications.
Advise contractor superintendents on necessary actions to ensure conformance with plans, specs, and contract.
Review and resolve quantity disputes with contractors.
Perform on-site material testing and assist with equipment maintenance.
Assist with as-built record drawings and contract close-out documentation.
Participate in project progress meetings and serve as a field technical subject matter expert.
Requirements
Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Services, or related field and 10 years of relevant experience, or
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Services, or related field and 8 years of relevant experience, or
12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience on Sound Transit projects, parking garage construction, and design-build projects.

HNTB offers a competitive salary range of $120-$188 per hour, depending on location and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
