We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Marriott Syracuse Downtown. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests while handling cash transactions and operating a computer terminal or cash register.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with guests, respond to their requests, and ensure their satisfaction.
- Cash Handling: Process payments, make change, and provide receipts to guests.
- Station Reports: Complete daily station reports, which may include incorporating reports from the parking management system.
- Parking Operations: Hand out tickets, post tickets, and answer requests for items retrieved from cars.
- Telephone Support: Answer phone calls from guests and respond to their inquiries.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Mathematical Skills: Above average mathematical skills to balance paperwork and handle cash transactions.
- Experience: Prior experience as a cashier and in the hospitality industry is preferred.
