Job Overview

Working Hours: Friday to Sunday, 6 AM to 6 PM

  • Expertise in delivering mechanical services to reduce downtime and uphold equipment and facility standards.

  • Proficient in diagnosing equipment performance issues, troubleshooting, analyzing, and implementing necessary repairs or modifications.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach, adaptable to change, and capable of both following instructions and collaborating within a diverse team.
  • Effective communication skills across various platforms, including verbal, written, and digital mediums.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Assist in all maintenance-related tasks, including breakdowns, rebuilds, modifications, and equipment startups.
  • Operate machinery to achieve production goals, emphasizing throughput, efficiency, quality, safety, and compliance.
  • Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Support subcontractors in modifying and repairing existing equipment and implementing new machinery.
  • Contribute to equipment and facility sanitation efforts.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in overseeing overall facility operational systems.
  • Provide insights and suggestions to the Maintenance Manager for enhancing equipment and facility operations.
  • Adhere to all regulatory standards.
  • Accountable for tools, parts, and supplies to minimize equipment downtime and optimize resource utilization.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe maintenance shop, ensuring regulatory compliance and proper care of company assets.
  • Maintain current certifications and licenses for all relevant equipment.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 60 pounds, squat, bend, twist, and perform manual dexterity tasks, with the visual acuity necessary for equipment quality assessments.
  • Act as a temporary supervisor regarding production needs, safety, quality, and sanitation when the Production Supervisor is unavailable.
  • Willingness to work all scheduled or unscheduled shifts and weekends as required.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma with a minimum of five years of experience in industrial maintenance or operations, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong mechanical background with comprehensive knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, electronics, calibrations, and automated production systems.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Maintain a clean driving record.
