Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EMS Instructor to join our team at Trinity Health. As an EMS Instructor, you will play a critical role in facilitating student acquisition of the required knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for success in the student's chosen career in health sciences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Supervision: Provide teaching, supervision, and evaluation of student learning experiences to ensure students acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes for success in their chosen career.
  • Student Advisement and Guidance: Provide individual advisement and guidance for intellectual and professional development of students, helping them to achieve their academic and career goals.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Collaborate with other faculty, preceptors, field faculty, and clinical agencies to provide optimum learning opportunities for students, ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded education.
Essential Functions
  • Learning Activity Development: Develop, implement, and revise learning activities in a limited area, ensuring they are aligned with the program's goals and objectives.
  • Administrative Support: Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned, providing administrative support to the department and the institution.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Associate degree in emergency medicine or a related field.
  • Experience: Two years' experience as a Paramedic, with demonstrated experience leading and/or training others.
  • Certification: Current and valid Paramedic certification.
