Job Summary:

The Clinical Operations Coordinator is a multifaceted role that requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. This position works closely with management to organize daily activities, provide support to providers and staff, and ensure compliance with organizational and departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates patient flow and prepares patients for provider visits
  • Organizes daily schedules and work activities to meet patient needs
  • Assists with triage, patient prescription refills, and referrals
  • Provides training and oversight to Medical Assistants and other staff members
  • Works with clinical management to assess and determine process protocols for the clinic

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education
  • Five years of experience as a Senior/Advanced Medical Assistant
  • Two years of demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in healthcare
  • CMA - National Certified Medical Assistant or equivalent certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification
  • EPIC proficiency

Working Relationships:

The Clinical Operations Coordinator will work closely with providers, staff, and management to ensure the smooth operation of the clinic. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.
