Job Summary

As a CT Scanner Technologist at Parkview Health, you will operate CT scanners and perform CT procedures in accordance with department policy and procedures. You will work together with physicians to perform a variety of specialized CT procedures, setting up and adjusting equipment to obtain diagnostic images. You will position patients to obtain images of the area of interest, while respecting their comfort and ability. You will obtain patient information for the procedure and provide radiation protection to patients, technologists, and others in the area. You will recognize emergent situations and activate assistance as needed. You will also assist other areas and shifts as needed.

Requirements

Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training. Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required. A license with the Indiana State Board of Health is also required. CPR certification is necessary.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience in CT or a similar role is preferred.
