Acute Care Transition Opportunity for Experienced RNs

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Med/Surg Training Program at Yale New Haven Health.
About the RoleThis unique initiative is designed to bridge the gap between post-acute and acute care settings, offering specialized orientation and comprehensive support to transition into a Med/Surg role. As an RN in this program, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills and transition to an acute care hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Tailored Clinical Training: Our specialized orientation program includes in-depth clinical training and mentorship from seasoned professionals.
- Career Advancement Opportunities: Upon successful completion, participants will have pathways to explore roles in Critical Care areas.
- Skill Development: Enhance your clinical competencies, critical thinking, and patient management skills tailored for an acute care environment.
- Mentorship: Work closely with experienced Med/Surg nurses who will guide and support your transition.
- Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current BCLS certification or obtained within one month of hire.
- Licensure: Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut.
