Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Yale New Haven Health in New Haven. As a Radiation Oncology RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality cancer services.

Responsibilities
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working in an acute care setting, preferably in a radiation oncology environment, where they can utilize their skills and expertise to deliver top-notch care to our patients.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • You will also have opportunities to participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to educational programs, and engage in professional development activities that promote your growth and success as a nursing professional.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut is mandatory.
  • At least one year of acute care experience, preferably in radiation oncology, is desired.
