About the Role

Octave is seeking a skilled Licensed Clinician to join our team as a Couples Therapist. As a member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality behavioral health care to our clients, working collaboratively to deliver evidence-based therapies. We are committed to driving quality access and customizing mental health treatment plans to meet the unique needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide short-term, evidence-based couples therapy to adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns.
  • Develop and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with clients, utilizing culturally responsive and competent care practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery and continuous quality improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in couples therapy, incorporating new knowledge into your clinical practice.
Requirements
  • Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling).
  • Current licensure in Washington, D.C. (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, LPC).
  • At least 1 year of post-license clinical experience, with a focus on couples therapy.
  • Formal training in couples therapy and experience working with diverse client populations.
