We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Co-op Student to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. as a Summer 2025 EHS Intern. This is a paid, 6-month internship with a housing stipend.
Key Responsibilities- Apply EHS principles to hands-on situations and work with the hourly workforce to address day-to-day safety concerns.
- Create Department Hazard Maps and review Environmental / Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs.
- Perform Respirator Fit Testing, Plant-wide Hearing Conservation Survey, and gather / research Safety Data for the Safety Department.
- Conduct Confined Space Entry Evaluations, Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for various processes and tasks, and work on various environmental projects.
- Attend safety training sessions and other appropriate educational opportunities.
- Full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Environmental or Safety discipline.
- Knowledge of related environmental, health, and safety engineering practice and regulatory compliance (EPA, OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
Relocation is authorized for this position. This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations.
