Position Overview:

An established contractor in government and commercial services is seeking an experienced Airfield Manager. This role is crucial for the effective management of airfield facilities and operations, ensuring a secure and efficient environment for aircraft activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the comprehensive management of airfield facilities and services.
  • Supervise personnel and conduct regular airfield inspections.
  • Develop and implement parking plans while coordinating airfield activities, including construction, repairs, and safety protocols.
  • Manage critical information related to safe aircraft operations and facilitate communication between air traffic control and maintenance teams.
  • Oversee airfield maintenance projects and ensure the operational readiness of runways and navigational aids.
  • Coordinate hazardous cargo movements and process flight plans.
  • Liaise with various agencies regarding flight planning and emergency response, ensuring adequate support for all aircraft, passengers, and crews.
Work Environment:

This position requires 100% onsite presence in designated international locations.

Qualifications:
  • Documented experience with ICAO procedures.
  • Proven experience in implementing airfield safety protocols and managing local flight information.
  • Experience conducting airfield inspections in compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Formal electronics training from recognized institutions or military technical training.
  • Graduation from an approved DoD/Advanced Airfield Managers course or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of airfield management experience and 4+ years in airfield operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret Clearance.
