We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to lead the Device Software Externalization Infrastructure team at Amazon.
Key Responsibilities- Drive technical trade-off decisions and influence feature priorities to ensure the success of our Device Service Providers and Service Consumers.
- Represent difficult trade-off decisions and solutions clearly to technical and business leaders, leveraging your technical knowledge and negotiation skills.
- Define strategy & requirements, develop processes & schedules, and drive forward progress on major initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams, with a strong background in technical product or program management.
- 5+ years of experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition, with a focus on technical trade-off decisions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- 5+ years of project management experience, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path management.
- Experience working with geographically distributed teams, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with remote collaboration.
