Job Summary

The Receptionist is a critical role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for clients and their pets. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling client inquiries, and supporting the veterinary team in daily patient and client care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Greet clients and pets by name, answer phone calls promptly and professionally, and provide knowledgeable advice on animal care and veterinary services.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments and surgeries, make confirmation calls, and ensure accurate client information is recorded.
  • Financial Transactions: Collect payment, process credit card transactions, and verify client eligibility for charge accounts.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate medical records, scan documents, and refill prescriptions.
  • Product Sales: Advise clients on retail items, such as flea/tick preventatives, heartworm preventatives, and home dental products.
Requirements
  • Commitment to Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to Mission Veterinary Partners' core values and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in computer software, keyboarding, and communication tools.
