Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Greet clients and pets by name, answer phone calls promptly and professionally, and provide knowledgeable advice on animal care and veterinary services.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments and surgeries, make confirmation calls, and ensure accurate client information is recorded.
- Financial Transactions: Collect payment, process credit card transactions, and verify client eligibility for charge accounts.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate medical records, scan documents, and refill prescriptions.
- Product Sales: Advise clients on retail items, such as flea/tick preventatives, heartworm preventatives, and home dental products.
- Commitment to Excellence: Demonstrate a commitment to Mission Veterinary Partners' core values and provide exceptional customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in computer software, keyboarding, and communication tools.
- Veterinary Terminology: Working knowledge of veterinary terminology, including pronunciation, spelling, and meaning.
- Communication Skills: Excellent spelling and grammar, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff.
- Emotional Intelligence: Ability to handle varied and sometimes difficult situations, with tact and respect for clients and team members.
