The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Room Care Specialist, an exciting opportunity to join the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville. The Room Care Specialist plays a vital role in the Housekeeping Team, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of public guest and employee areas while supporting the housekeeping team with restocking and fulfilling requests.
A keen eye for detail, a strong sense of quality and integrity, and a passion for outstanding service will contribute to the success of the ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Stocking linen rooms and storage areas with fresh linens
- Picking up and delivering guest request items
- Assisting Guest Room Attendants as needed; maintaining cleanliness in guest corridors, elevator landings, stairwells, and linen storage rooms at all times
- Engaging with guests to ensure they feel welcomed, comfortable, and well cared for by managing all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and accommodating special requests
- Providing genuine hospitality and recognition in the work area
- Promoting hotel services and products
- Safely handling all relevant equipment and machinery, promptly reporting defects and accidents to management
- Keeping linen rooms tidy, properly stocked, and secured when not in use.
- Ensuring all working equipment is clean, organized, and in good condition
- Reporting any damages, repairs, or maintenance needs
- Alerting management to any suspicious activity or health and safety hazards
- Performing additional cleaning duties as assigned by management
- Collaborating harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and hotel staff.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- High School education or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel in Housekeeping or a related field
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment operation
- Proficiency in English
- Flexibility with scheduling, including availability for weekdays, weekends, holidays, and evening/overnight shifts.
