Technical Business Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Engineer to join our US Aluminum Sales team at Pyrotek. The ideal candidate will reside in the Indianapolis or Chicago area and have 5+ years of related work/sales experience in a technical or process-related industry.
The estimated salary for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build long-term mutually beneficial relationships with Pyrotek's customer base, focusing on positive impact and profitable growth.
- Support the launch of new products and services, managing inventory and stocking agreements to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Collect and track customer feedback, insights, and activity regularly, creating accurate financial, business, and strategy reports for the management team.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of related work/sales experience in a technical or process-related industry.
- Demonstrated success/aptitude in industrial business-to-business sales.
- Experience utilizing a CRM tool and/or other reporting functions to document client contact and support client operations.
