About the Role
OsteoCentric Technologies Inc. is a leading developer of innovative medical device technologies. We are seeking an experienced Simulation Engineer to join our team in North Austin, USA.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing advanced simulations and analyses using Ansys software (Mechanical, Motion, LS-DYNA, or optiSLang) to support product design and development. You will develop, set up, and execute simulation models, perform finite element analysis (FEA), collaborate with design and R&D teams, and analyze results to inform engineering decisions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of FEA and dynamic modeling principles, proficiency in developing and optimizing complex simulation models, and knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are also essential for this position.

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000-$160,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. The company also provides paid time off, holidays, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, validate, and optimize complex simulation models using Ansys software.
  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for structural, thermal, and/or dynamic simulations.
  • Analyze results and provide insights for design improvements.
  • Collaborate with design, R&D, and product development teams to define simulation requirements.
  • Stay current with advances in simulation technology and incorporate new methodologies to enhance simulation capabilities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering simulation, specifically with Ansys tools.
  • Proven expertise in at least one of the specified Ansys software systems: Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Motion, Ansys LS-DYNA, or Ansys optiSLang.
