Salary and Benefits

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop individualized perioperative patient plans of care, prioritizing patient safety and comfort.
  • Implement evidence-based practices to prevent complications and promote positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, adhering to regulatory requirements and facility policies.
  • Pursue ongoing education and training to enhance knowledge and skills, staying current with industry developments and advancements.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, with a minimum of one year of experience in GI, OR, and/or medical/surgical nursing.
  • Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
  • Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) or Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) within 90 days of employment, or documentation of current BLS/BCLS certification.
  • Specialty certification in GI Nursing is preferred but not required.
