School Psychologist Position Available

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled School Psychologist to join our team in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will have a strong background in adolescent development and mental health issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify student strengths and areas for improvement. Develop and implement personalized plans to address academic, behavioral, and emotional challenges.
  2. Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with educators, administrators, and staff to devise strategies for student success. Provide timely support during crises to ensure student safety and well-being.
  3. Advocacy and Professional Development: Advocate for inclusive practices for students of all backgrounds and abilities. Stay updated on School Psychology research and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Texas Psychology License.
  • Prior experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred.
  • NASP certification or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and mental health issues.
