About the Role:

The Maintenance Supervisor at TreeHouse Foods is responsible for overseeing the maintenance process, improving efficiencies, and meeting production and maintenance metrics. This role involves directing and leading a team of hourly team members, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance process, analyzing productivity, workflow, methods, and procedures to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assign work, analyze productivity, and workflow to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Responsible for recognizing, reporting, and troubleshooting food safety and/or quality issues.
  • Utilize the management operating structure to lead the maintenance team, develop and analyze data, and create action plans to reduce downtime.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years Supervisory experience; experience in a union environment preferred.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization through effective communication.
  • Ability to foster a workplace of collaboration and positive reinforcement for all employees.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and competing demands.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
  • Excellent leadership qualities, verbal and written communication skills, technical analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
