About the Opportunity

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our team of experienced pediatricians and certified nurse practitioners in providing excellent outpatient care to our patients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate pediatrician to join our team at Akron Children's Hospital. As a pediatrician at our hospital, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and provide high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care to infants, children, and adolescents in an outpatient setting
  • Conduct routine check-ups, diagnose and treat illnesses, and provide preventative care
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in pediatric care
Requirements
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Pediatrics
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Ohio
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
