Physical Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Nationwide Children's Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients with physical disabilities or injuries, providing individualized care to help them achieve optimal function and independence.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients with varied diagnoses to determine developmental and/or functional status using standardized measures or clinical observations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating patient and family needs.
- Administer therapeutic treatment to patients with functional deficits to provide optimal function and independence.
- Fabricate, recommend, or provide orthotics to maintain functional body joint positions and improve functional mobility.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic activities to follow while at home and document instruction.
- Communicate patient status and collaborate with physicians, third-party payers, and relevant healthcare providers.
- Maintain administrative functions of individual caseload, including scheduling patients for treatment and submitting timely documentation.
- Bachelor of Science in physical therapy or higher; State of Ohio Licensure.
- Previous physical therapy work experience in a pediatric setting preferred or clinical affiliation in the area of pediatrics.
- CPR certification must be received no later than 60 days post hire or 60 days post expiration.
This role will start at New Albany, but potential to float to our other Central Columbus locations.
