Job Title: Staff Accountant/AR Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant/AR Specialist to join our finance team at PaneraTech. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable, processing vendor bills, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable, including recording customer invoices and maintaining accurate records
  • Process vendor bills and ensure all transactions are accurately posted to the correct general ledger accounts
  • Perform credit card reconciliations and ensure proper coding for each transaction listed in Expensify
  • Assist the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end closing processes, enforcing a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with payroll consultants for the timely preparation of timecards and payroll reports
  • Contribute to the timely reporting of all monthly financial information and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Handle daily banking requirements, transaction processing, and assist with monthly and quarterly bank compliance activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information and support overall department goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of at least 3 years in an accounting role
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Desirable to have experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
  • Experience with full cycle AR process desirable
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Sharp attention to detail and a dedication to accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills
