Position Overview:

We are currently seeking Preventive Maintenance Technicians with experience in servicing Elevators (both Residential and Industrial) or Conveyor Systems. This role will be based in our operations.

Utilizing your expertise in Conveyors or Elevators, you will transition to working on Overhead Cranes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on electric overhead traveling cranes.
  • Engage with clients regarding repair and safety concerns.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and breakdowns.
  • Identify sales opportunities during service visits.
  • Document service activities accurately and thoroughly.
  • Handle new crane wiring, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Travel may be necessary; a work vehicle will be provided.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of AC/DC principles and the ability to troubleshoot 480VAC 3-phase motor control systems. An A.A. degree or equivalent vocational training or experience is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on electro-mechanical maintenance experience.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical environments, with familiarity in mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must successfully pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety practices.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Experience with Variable Frequency Drives and PLC programming is advantageous.
  • Prior crane maintenance experience is a plus.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • On-call or overtime may be required.
