Job Summary: As an Optometrist with the US Army - 3rd Medical Recruiting Battalion, you will provide comprehensive eye care services to Soldiers and their Families. This role requires a strong foundation in ophthalmic care, including diagnosing and managing eye injuries, prescribing medications and eyeglasses, and counseling patients on treatment options.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and manage eye injuries and diseases in Soldiers and their Families
  • Prescribe medications and eyeglasses as needed
  • Counsel patients on treatment options, including surgical and nonsurgical procedures
  • Provide comprehensive eye care services, including routine exams and vision correction
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
