About the Role

As a Companion Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting physically or mentally challenged clients in their daily lives, providing them with the care and assistance they need to maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Medication Reminders: Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
  • Cooking and Meal Preparation: Prepare meals according to clients' dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Ambulation and Supportive Services: Assist clients with ambulation, transfers, and other supportive services as needed.
Requirements
  • PCA Certification: Must be certified as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in the state of Minnesota.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Covid-19 Immunization: Must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Work Schedule

Positions are available for Companion Care Specialists to work with clients in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The ideal candidate will be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
