Job Title: Associate Attorney - Family & Criminal Law

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our firm, you will be responsible for providing top-notch legal services to our clients, including consultation, case management, and litigation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with Prospective Clients: Consult with 15-20 prospective clients per week, with a closing rate of 35-40%, resulting in approximately 4 new contracts per week.
  • Efficient and Productive Case and Client Management: Timely communication with clients, team members, other departments, and agencies, handle KPI follow-up through weekly one-on-ones, create and execute a weekly plan with the team for case review of all assigned cases, following the Community Law Group Client Communication Protocol (CLG CCP).
  • Quality Legal Work Product: Timely filing of motions and other legal documents, excellent client experience, case status report (inventory) up to date weekly, with all cases on the team's radar.
  • Timely Production of Reports: Oversee and create the timely production of reports daily, weekly, quarterly, and annually for supervisors and management. Reports should be automated and efficient.
  • Effective Delegation: Maximize delegation to team members using the Delegation Matrix, leveraging attorney time, knowledge, and production. Delegating appropriately, using technology to its highest and best use.
  • Meet Individual Goals and Contribute to Meeting Firm Goals: Based on KPIs and expectations, work well independently and with a team.
Requirements:
  • License to Practice Law in TN: Required.
  • Exceptional Interpersonal, Organizational, and Communication Skills: Essential.
  • Proficient Knowledge of Pertinent Law and Local Procedure: Required.
  • Strong Litigation Experience and Capabilities: Essential, including experience with mediation, negotiations, legal research, and writing.
  • Ability to Develop and Mentor Others on Trial Advocacy: A plus.
  • Strategic, Forward-Focused Mindset: Embracing simplification and innovative opportunities with an emphasis on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to Effectively Collaborate, Build Consensus, and Influence Outcomes: Essential.
  • Agility to Navigate at a Fast Pace with a Positive Attitude and Aptitude: Required.
  • Effective Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Essential.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish: A plus.
