About the Role

Sanford Heisler Sharp LLP, a leading national public interest law firm, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Nashville, Tennessee office. This Associate will focus on representing plaintiffs in class action lawsuits, as well as individual actions, related to financial fraud matters, including securities, ERISA, consumer, and data breach actions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct factual and legal research
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
  • Participate in discovery and provide legal advice to clients
  • Assist and participate in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and court hearings and conferences
  • Attend industry, networking, and community outreach events
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in class action litigation and/or complex commercial litigation
  • Member in good standing of the State Bar of Tennessee or expect to be admitted in the immediate future
  • Familiarity with complex commercial litigation, large-scale discovery, and e-discovery preferred
