Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our team in New York City. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide top-notch support for various client AV systems, including digital menu boards, live audio, and networked hardware.
Your primary responsibility will be to setup and breakdown AV and related hardware, review existing hardware and configurations, and make recommendations for improvements. You will also troubleshoot hardware and software AV issues, document fixes, and implement permanent solutions.
Additionally, you will adhere to and/or create IT AV processes and SOPs, manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Pro AV hardware and software, and other related peripherals in the client environment.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a technical support role providing service desk AV support troubleshooting hospitality or retail end-user issues with hardware and software. They should also have extensive experience with networked Pro Audio hardware configurations, including amps, DSPs, and Cores.
A strong background in Crestron software management and configuration is required, as well as excellent time management, communication, and customer service skills. The ability to act independently and take total ownership of a customer environment is essential.
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, you will have the opportunity to engage in short- and long-term projects, work collaboratively with a team and clients, and make impactful decisions on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Setup and Breakdown of AV and related hardware;

Requirements:
