Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and select technical factors and equipment to obtain optimal quality scans.
  • Operate portable ultrasound equipment and assist physicians with recommendations for obtaining optimal studies.
  • Deliver patient care and maintain department standards of continued quality improvement.
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate statistics.
Requirements
  • ARDMS Registry eligible.
  • CPR Certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and use patient handling equipment when necessary.
